Greeting Cards

Dear Reader,

Many of us give "gifts" to our friends and family everyday. We often give our time, acknowledgment and other gestures of kindness. This time of year we often do even more.

A very wise person shared this information with me. He called it the "Art of Giving." He said that the if we really focus on the receiver, we will choose the right gift. It requires some thought but often brings wonderful results.

Like many, I find the holidays both joyful and stressful at the same time. But, as this year comes to an end, I am grateful for all of you. We thank you, our guests, customers, friends and family for sharing so many good times with us this year. May the New Year bring you good health, wealth and much happiness.
Warmest regards,
Johanne & Frank

House Portraits, Tote Bags, and Greeting Cards

Johanne will paint an original folk art portrait of your home or a large mural size painting depicting the historic places, homes, churches and buildings that represent your town. She recently painted large mural painting of Middleton. Visit the new Middleton library to view a framed canvas giclee of the original.

The Coastal Village and the Lighthouse paintings, are now available on canvas tote bags.

Coastal Village
is a larger tote with shoulder straps and zipper closure. It could tote books, towels, shoes or use for travel.

The Lighthouse tote is a great small, "ditty" bag that also has shoulder straps and zipper closure. A great bag for wallet, phone and glasses. It can be stored in larger bag and taken out for shopping. They are really beautiful as personal totes or as a special gift for a loved one.

Many of Johanne's paintings are now available as greeting cards. Most are sold as singles and many also come boxed in 5"X7" and 4"x6" sizes. Cards may be purchased in the shop or you may purchase online at www.johannecassia.com.

Johanne's Paintings at High Street Antiques

Johanne is now offering a special collection of framed canvas giclees at High Street Antiques. The shop is now owned by Donato and Connie Mastrangelo. They are very special dealers who are on top of the antiques market. They have lots of fresh merchandise coming in from estates daily. The shop is located across from Ipswich High School. There is lots of parking and lots to purchase.

"Artists supporting Art"

You have the opportunity to own a beautiful piece of art and support Ipswich Museum and it's collections at the same time. Several Ipswich artists have donated amazing pieces of art to the "Holiday Boutique Sale" at the Ipswich Museum to be held on Saturday, December 4. The Art will be available for sale in the Dow Room.

Notre Dame Second Graders Paint Folk Art

Thank you to Sister Barbara for inviting me to teach the second grade class the highlights of Grandma Moses painting. Using acrylics, wood stencils and much imagination the second graders created amazing folk art paintings. I learned so much from them and enjoyed every minute of our painting adventure together.
