Come Paint with Us! Free Event
Saturday, October 1

You are invited to come on Saturday, October 1 from 11 am to 1 pm to paint with us in my "Studio in the Barn." We will be serving coffee and baked goodies at 10:45 am.

Please bring a wooden or metal folding chair, if you have one. We have a few. If you have an object or picture you would like to paint, bring it with you. Please wear "painting shirts" because acryllic paint is permanent.

I will have some painting supplies for you. Kay has rice paper and ink you may use if you want to try Sumi-e ink painting. If you haven't painted before, this is going to be a fun adventure. If you are an experienced artist, we look forward to hearing you share your wisdom and advice. Please RSVP by email: jcassia@comcast.net or phone: 978-356-8838.

An Apple a Day!

Apple picking is in full swing at Russell Orchards on Argilla Road.
They have many different apples ripe for the picking. Enjoy in the fun by taking the hayride over to the orchards.
The honey crisps are delicious. The macouns are almost ripe. Enjoy the hot apple cider donuts and apple pie. Take home a bottle of wine or some cool cider from the orchard's winery. The children will love petting the farm animals. Russell Orchard is another great reason to visit Ipswich.

Marini Farm on Linebrook Road will open the corn maze, "Let Freedom Ring" on September 10. It will take approximately 2 hours to find your way through the maze. For younger children, a hay bale maze has been set up. The large hay and pumpkin figures will be assembled for some great fun and picture taking.
