"Painting Party at Rebecca Nurse Homestead"
Sunday, September 22, 12 -3 pm, Danvers, MA in the Meeting House

If you have a great interest in American history and want to walk in the footsteps of the past, you will enjoy this fundraising "Painting Party" offered by historic folk painter, Johanne Cassia.

Experience a walk back in time and discover the artist within you. Come to this "Painting Party". The group will follow the painting model shown above, "Rebecca's Pumpkins". You will take home a completed 16" X 20" canvas ready to frame. This class is for beginners as well as adventurous artists. Wear painting clothes.

This painting class will be held in the "Meeting House" at the Rebecca Nurse Homestead on Sunday, September 22 from 12 - 3 pm. The Meeting House was built on the grounds of the Nurse Homestead by PBS to film two historic movies. The trial scene in the movie the "Crucible" is a memorable one. Rebecca was found innocent but the decision was later overturned.
